Ned is a highly experienced social studies and history teacher with a passion for helping students succeed. Since 2015, he has taught a wide range of courses, including 9th Grade World History (CP and Honors), 10th Grade US History I (CP and Honors), a Government elective for juniors and seniors, and AP US Government & Politics and AP World History. He also serves as the faculty advisor for the Key Club, a service‑focused organization with more than 100 student members.
Ned’s teaching style is engaging, supportive, and deeply student‑centered. He excels at breaking down complex historical and governmental concepts into clear, manageable steps, and he creates an environment where students feel confident participating and taking intellectual risks. As an AP Reader, Ned brings insider knowledge of how the Free Response Questions (FRQs) are evaluated at the national level, helping students strengthen their writing, sharpen their analytical thinking, and understand exactly what high‑level work looks like.
